Felice G. Prevot

1928-2018 Felice G. Prevot, age 94, a resident of Belen, NM, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018, surrounded by her loving children. She was a case worker for the State of New Mexico Health and Social Services. Over the years, Felice shared many memories of her career, family and her four years in Panama. She returned home to her beloved Belen, to enjoy her years of retirement. Her endearing smile, love and strength will be remembered and missed. Felice was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Sonny Prevot; her parents, Juan and Lugarda Gabaldon; her brothers, Gillie, Milton, George, Billy and Baby Alex Gabaldon; her sisters, Annie Gallegos and Mercy Ethridge; and her brothers-in-law, Joe Gallegos and Filo Sedillo. Felice is survived by her three children, Leon and wife Elsie, Mark and Sandra Prevot; her grandchildren, Roman, Kaitlynn and Alexandra Prevot; her brother, Eugene and wife, Gloria; her sisters, Dolly Apodoca and husband Hank, Corrine Sedillo and Loretta Sanchez; her sisters-in-law, Lala and Geraldine Gabaldon; and her aunt Julia Silva. All services will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. A Viewing will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m. Reverend Clemente will be presiding the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Roman, Kaitlynn and Alex Prevot, along with her nephews, Michael, Filo and Chris. Honorary Pallbearers will be Eugene Gabaldon, Hank Apodaca, Antonio Sedillo and Steve Ethridge. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Felice’s name to St. Mary’s School, Belen, NM.
