Start earning entries into the “$100,000 Grand Slam Giveaway” starting Sunday, April 15, through May 26. Star Rewards Club members receive one entry for every 500 points earned playing their favorite slot machines or table games. Drawings will be held at 8 p.m. Saturdays, beginning April 21. There will be three guests selected each week for their chance to play for $100,000 in cash. Each guest will win a cash prize ranging from $500 to $100,000.
Santa Ana Star Casino continues its “Amazing Adventure Giveaway” through Saturday, April 14. The final drawings will be held at 8 p.m. Saturday. Five patrons will be chosen. Four will win free play prizes and one will win an exciting adventure package. Star Rewards Club members earn an entry with every 500 points they accrue.
Guests can still get their Girl Scout cookie fix during “Cookie Time Tuesday” at Santa Ana Star Casino. The promotion happens every Tuesday in April. Star Rewards Club members who accrue 250 points will receive a free box of Girl Scout cookies. Patrons can earn a maximum of four boxes per day while supplies last.
On Wednesdays this month earn three times the points playing your preferred slot machines and table games. There also will be hourly $50 hot seat drawings with two winners selected each hour between noon and 8 p.m.
Tonight at 7 p.m. The Lala’s heat up The Stage with their steamy burlesque show. Tickets are $25-$50, plus fees at holdmyticket.com. After the show head to Lounge 54 for some entertainment by the Chris Ravin Band from 9 p.m. to midnight. Lounge 54 hosts local bands every Friday and Saturday night. David & Co. perform April 20 and April 21 and Little Roy & His Pack of Lies play on April 27 and April 28.
If you cannot wait until the weekend, The Stage hosts “Stand-Up Comedy Thursdays” beginning at 7:30 p.m. Funny men John Hilder and Jeremy Flores will keep you laughing on Thursday, April 19, and Jokers Hippieman and Don Morgan will have you giggling all night with their hijinks on April 26.
This summer Santa Ana Star Casino is offering a place to stay after you play when its hotel opens in July. Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel is now accepting reservations for dates as early as July 5. Reservations can be made by calling 867-0000 or online at santaanastar.com.
The hotel will host a free community shredding event in partnership with Unicor, LLC, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 28. All documents will be securely destroyed and later recycled by Unicor, LLC. Each person can bring two boxes or one trash bag of paper. The event is free and open to the public.
