Rally behind Rep. Trujillo to show he is not alone

-

In defense of State Representative Carl Trujillo, I question the timing of the allegations against him. Could they be politically motivated? Instead of reporting these allegations in 2013, 2014, 2015 and so on, they are presented a month before the June election!

These allegations have been aimed at a hardworking and very popular state representative who helps multiple communities. I have attended town meetings that Rep. Trujillo has attended (even when he doesn’t represent the citizens of the county where the meeting is held) to listen to the citizens’ issues and concerns, meetings held in Santa Fe County and Rio Arriba regarding problems of road access to private homes, as well as water rights being taken away or drastically reduced in use by multiple Indian Pueblos.

Rep. Trujillo has attended so many town meetings to communicate what is being discussed and said by multiple parties at these meetings. He explains and answers questions from concerned citizens regarding what has resulted so far between the Indian Pueblos, State Representatives and County Commissioners.

Carl Trujillo has worked hard for us and now is the time we let him know he is NOT standing alone, we support him. Unfortunately, I cannot vote for him, but I can support him in many other ways!
