WHY I’M RUNNING: As a New Mexico State Police Sr. patrolmen for 15 years, I was honored to protect and serve the citizens of New Mexico in District 1 (Santa Fe). During this time, I was witness to the tragedy associated with the struggles of crime and addiction in our community. I continue to share my experience and expertise with the court and its participants as a member of the Santa Fe Magistrate Drug Court team.
In addition, I will continue to further my education and challenge myself to advocate for accountability and change. The citizens of Santa Fe County deserve a qualified, experienced and knowledgeable judge who can not only apply the law in a fair and just manner, but also treat everyone who appears before me with dignity and respect regardless of their background.
