Anthony Goeke

-

Anthony Goeke, 65, beloved Father and Papa, left for his eternal fishing trip on May 30, 2018. He entered this world on February 19, 1953 in Mobile, AL, born to Hilton and Woodye Lee Goeke. He is survived by his wife, Karen; his children: Greg Goeke (Heather), Josh Bethel, and Kimberly Blaine (Chris), and grand-daughter Piper Goeke; Mother, Woodye Lee Goeke; Siblings: Sharon Lee, Allison Longoria, Susan Nix (Stix), Terrell Goeke, and baby sister, Joan Goeke, brothers-in-law, many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Tony’s priority was always his family. He lived for the days of backyard barbecues and fish-fries, especially with his recent catch. He was a lover of food and cooking, particularly making pralines for friends and family at Christmas.

Tony retired from Johnson & Johnson after 35 years of service, was loved by all of his co-workers, and considered them his extended family. His job took him around the world,

meeting new people that were never forgotten. In fact, he would run into people he knew in airports and restaurants all over the world.

After retirement, Tony enjoyed FOX News on mute, golf, meeting his friends for Happy Hours and lunches, and traveling, including cruises. He made many trips down to Corpus to see his family and fish with his sister, Joan, and buddy, Mike. Tony was an avid sportsman, both playing and watching.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, June 4, 2018, 11:00 a.m., at Grace Church, 6901 San Antonio Drive NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Heart Association. Please visit our online guestbook for Tony at www.FrenchFunerals.com
