Cifford Allen Ritts, 56, died on Friday, January 12, 2018. Born on June 27, 1961 in the hospital at Holloman AFB, Otero Co, near Alamogordo, NM, came to Albuquerqu­e

1963 when his father was discharged from the

Air Force. Cliff was never married and is survived by his mother Janet Seiler (Ritts) Roth, father John D. Ritts, both of Albuquerqu­e, sister Julie Ann Ritts- Rael and Louis of Flower Mound, TX, step-sister Michelle Roth and husband Sean Manchester, Providence, RI, step-brothers Frank Roth and wife Debbie Stover, Michael Taylor and wife Sharon of Albuquerqu­e, step-brother Louis Roth and Anne of Liberty Hill, TX and several aunts, uncles and cousins of PA, CA, AZ and TX. He was preceded in death by his step-father Allen S. Roth, step-mother Sally Taylor Ritts, formerly of Albuquerqu­e, grandparen­ts Alvin and Leona Seiler formerly of Ligonier, PA, and Clifford and Elizabeth Ritts formerly of Oil City, PA.

Cliff tried out for several sports in school, however, being small in stature, had little success until he found his niche in Gymnastics, with trophies from Manzano High School, he graduated in 1979. He studied Electrical Trades Theory II, Small Business Management and Small Business Law at TVI while an apprentice at Desert Electric 1979-81, received his JE98 Journeyman’s license at age 20, worked with local contractor­s and was proud of working on the Zepher Mountain Lodge in Winter Park Ski Basin northwest of Denver,an eight story,250 unit custom condominiu­m complex. He also enjoyed the small jobs that afforded a closer relationsh­ip with customers. He loved his work and was good at it! Cremation was carried out by French Funerals & Cremation, his cremains were placed in the Kiva Ossuary and a Cenotaph in the Centennial Urn Garden is directly east of the fountain in Sunset Memorial Park.

Cliff loved all of creation: nature, animals, and mankind. He spent many days in the wilderness, and he never knew a stranger. He was loved by many, and will be missed by many. Family and friends will celebrate his life at a

Cliffs immediate family is so please that in attendance will be Joyce Seiler O’Donnell and Barry of Huntington Beach, CA along with their son and daughter-in-law, Erik and Rebecca O’Donnell of Los Angeles, CA. Their younger son, Cliffs cousin, Kurt, age 44, died on January 3, 2018. "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." Mt 5:4 NIV.
