Dennis Howard Freshman

Dennis Howard Freshman, age 77, of Albuquerque passed away in his sleep on June 7th, 2018. He died of complications from the diseases he had battled for years, Parkinson’s and congestive heart failure.
Dennis was born in Washington, D.C. to Daniel and Blanche (Bee) Flanagan Freshman. He was married to Diana Fairchild July 10, 1965, in Hobbs. A graduate of UNM, he was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity.
Dennis leaves behind his wife, Diana, two sons, Brad of Albuquerque, and Brian of Taos, his daughter Brooke Freshman, and granddaughters Kameron and Kayden George of Albuquerque. He is also survived by his brother Thomas Freshman, his wife Beth, and their three children, Jon Ryan, Katie, and Justin, as well as niece Hollie Freshman Stowe of Leesburg, VA.
He was preceded in death by his parents Dan and Bee Freshman and his brother John.
A memorial service will take place at UNM Alumni Chapel on Wednesday, June 20th, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. Dennis loved Hawaiian shirts. Feel free to join us and dress comfortably in one of your own. In place of flowers, donations can be made to Presbyterian Healthcare at Home through the Presbyterian Hospital Foundation.
A special thanks is given to his physicians, Dr. Dion Gallant and Dr. ELizabeth Ward of Presbyterian Hospital, who gave endless support as we battled his illnesses from diagnosis to the end.
