Harry Milton Davidson

Mr. Harry Milton Davidson, born on June 25, 1935 in Clovis New Mexico to the late Marcella Davidson and the late Milton Davidson, passed away at age 82 on June 10, 2018 in Albuquerqu­e, New Mexico. Harry graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineerin­g from UNM in 1956 and was a member of the Kappa Alpha fraternity. In 1972 Harry received an MBA from UNM. From 1956 to 1960 Harry was an active duty Naval Pilot, flying seaplanes and P2V patrol planes. He served 20 years in the Naval Reserves. Harry worked as an air pollution control engineer and I the Hazardous waste disposal industry as an environmen­tal engineer at Kirtland AFB until he retired in 2001. Harry married Joline Schwatken in Independen­ce, Kansas. They would have been married 60 years on July 13th He is survived by his son, Tony Davidson; daughters, Kala Scarafiott­i, Cindy Beuerle, and Lizann Miller; and grandchild­ren, Tyler Scarafiott­i, Jesse Scarafiott­i, Jade Dolan, Robert Alec Beuerle, Tessa Beuerle, Logan Davidson, Rebecca Eiler, Kari Lincoln, Jeb Fortin, Brady Fortin and Kori Fortin. Harry was an avid aviation historian and developed the airplane model collection on display at the Albuquerqu­e Airport. He was a member of Albuquerqu­e Scale Model Builders, and the president of Cavalcade of Wings and Albuquerqu­e Aviation History group. The family invites donations in Harry’s name to Christ the King Anglican Church. Friends and Family members may attend the memorial service, officiated by Thomas McGee, on Friday, July 6th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ the King, 529 Jefferson NE.
