Charolette L. "Charlie" Lober, age 82, a resident of Albuquerqu­e since 1981, died Tuesday, June 12,

2018 after a long illness. She is survived by her husband of 37 years,

Jack Lober; children, Roger Kinkennon and wife, Ginny, Sam Kinkennon and wife, Debbie, Jeffrey Scott Lober, Russell Lober and wife, Sherry, and Sherry Lober Schwilm and husband, Carl; fifteen grandchild­ren; twenty-two great-grandchild­ren; and many friends. Charlie was preceded in death by her grandson, Sammy Kinkennon. She was born in 1936 in Columbus, OH and was raised by Frank and Thelma Jaganic. Charlie met Jack Lober in Colorado Springs, CO and they were married in 1981. She operated two snack bars at the former Eucan and Sun Valley Bowls. Charlie loved to make beautiful beaded jewelry. She loved fishing, camping, and bowling, including teaching many grade school students how to bowl. One of her students gave her one of his many 300 rings. She was a member of the Albuquerqu­e WIBC/ USBC Associatio­n and served as a director for over 30 years, and was voted Director of the Year. Charlie was a member of the Albuquerqu­e Bowling Hall of Fame. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmothe­r and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held Thursday, June 28, 2018, 1:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributi­ons may be made in Charlie’s name to the Central New Mexico USBC, 125 Jackson St. NE, Albuquerqu­e, NM 87108-1339.
