WEDNESDAY JUNE 27 FREE BUSINESS TAXES WORKSHOP from 10:00 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Student Services Center (lower level) at the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at NMSU Alamogordo, 2400 N. Scenic Dr. in Alamogordo.
The class will cover the basics of exemptions and deductions, tax forms, Non-taxable Transaction Certificates (NTTCs) and electronic filing. This workshop will also provide an overview of federal and state income tax requirements as they relate to small-business owners. Learn about unemployment tax, selfemployment tax, 1040 estimated payments and the 1040 Schedule C. The presenter is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
