BIOPARK OFFERS HALF-PRICE WEEKEND
Dragonfly Festival at Botanic Garden
Dragonfly Festival, hippo feeding are some highlights of activities at the zoo, aquarium and botanic garden.
The ABQ BioPark zoo, Botanic Garden and Aquarium are again having a half-off admission weekend this Saturday and Sunday at the individual venues.
This third half-price weekend means New Mexico residents can get in for $5 per adult, $2.75 per senior (65 and up) and $2.50 per child (3-12 years). Out-ofstate visitors will pay $7.25 per adult, $3.75 per senior and $3 per child. Children under 3 are free, according to a news release.
“It’s a great opportunity to check out the Dragonfly Festival or the hippo feeding,” Mayor Tim Keller said in a statement. “Half-priced weekends are one of the ways we’re making the activities our city has to offer more accessible.”

The Dragonfly Festival will ■ be at the Botanic Garden from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
Check out the chiles growing ■ at the Heritage Farm, or consider a picnic in the shade at the Cottonwood Gallery.
Watch a hippo feeding at 2 ■ p.m.
Take the kids to the World ■
Animal Encounters Show at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Zoo.
Beat the heat by visiting the ■ air-conditioned Aquarium, and watch divers feed animals in the Coral Reef Tank at 11:30 a.m. and in the Shark Tank at 2 p.m.
Discounted admission prices are available from any BioPark cashier from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on these special days. There is no discount for BioPark combo tickets.
