Sandia Resort & Casino holds 10th Devil’s Delight Halloween party
Sandia Resort & Casino’s popular Devil’s Delight celebrates its 10th year.
The event, which will be held Saturday, Oct. 27, continuously has a large turnout of guests in extraordinary costumes hoping to win their share of $10,000 in cash, prizes and trips. Costume categories are Most Original, Couple, Scariest and Best Overall Costume.
There also will be door prizes. Drawings will be held at midnight, and eventgoers must be present to win. The grand prize is a stay for two at Sandia Resort & Casino, dinner for two at Bien Shur restaurant, and a $50 room service dining credit to be used during the winner’s stay. Four Green Reed Spa gift certificates, valued at $150 each, will also be given away. This event is for ages 21 and older.
On the gaming floor, swipe your Peak Rewards Players Club card at any kiosk from noon to 10 p.m. today and Saturday, Oct. 27, to receive two times the points to $100 in slot free play. Four winners also will be drawn each hour between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. for a chance at up to $10,000 cash.
Sandia continues its “$275,000 Gridiron Glory Giveaway” through Dec. 30. Pick your favorite teams weekly at the promotional kiosks for games happening on Sundays and Mondays. Weekly prizes will be awarded to the 20 Peak Rewards Club members with the best picks, as well as three members with the worst picks.
Non-winners can deposit their weekly pick vouchers into the “Second Chance” barrel for a chance to be one of five winners who receive $1,000 cash.

Sandia has a few bingo promotions to wrap up October.
Enjoy the “Bingo After Dark” tonight beginning at 11:15 p.m. The session is all electronic, and registers open at 10 p.m. Bingo players have an opportunity to be part of two $500 cash drawings as part of the “Crypt of Cash” promotion happening during both bingo sessions today.
On Sunday, Oct. 28, Sandia’s Planet Bingo will host the “Voodoo Disney Special” promotion during the evening session. Collect cards for Planet Bingo’s “Voodoo Disney” game through Oct. 28. On Wednesday, Oct. 31, be part of the “Halloween Monster Cash Special” during the matinee session. The free bingo buy-in pays $1,000. There also will be $500 cash drawings.
Hot seat drawings are abundant in the poker room for Peak Rewards members.
On Monday, Oct. 29, hot seat drawings take place at 7:30, 9 and 10:30 p.m. Two winners will be chosen during each drawing to win $150 and $75 cash. Hot seat drawings occur every two hours from 12:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27. Patrons who are selected can win their share of $15,000 in cash or slot free play.
