SEE SPOT RUN

-

It began Sunday morning with a sunrise stretch and continued with dog tricks, costume contests, a beer garden, music, a visit from the APD Mounted Patrol and running. Lots of running.

The 36th Annual Doggie Dash & Dawdle took place at Balloon Fiesta Park on Sunday. There was a 5K dash with canines and one without. There was a mile dawdle for those who preferred a more leisurely pace.

More than 4,000 humans and 2,000 canines were expected to participate in the event, which benefits Animal Humane New Mexico.
