Data conference Nov. 15

The annual Data Users Conference hosted by the University of New Mexico’s Bureau of Business and Economic Research will be Nov. 15 at the CNM Workforce Training Center.

The conference is aimed at both beginning and profession­al data users in the state and surroundin­g areas and can be valuable for private businesses, government agencies, service organizati­ons and informatio­n providers, according to BBER.

Among the presentati­ons will be news from the U.S. Census Bureau on 2020 preparatio­ns; new Census data tools; the economic Census; and New Mexico population estimates and projection­s.

Bureau Director Jeffrey Mitchell will review of New Mexico’s recent economic performanc­e and offer a short-term economic outlook over lunch.
