Theodore Modica

Theodore F. Modica, a lifelong resident of Corrales, NM, born October 19, 1938, in Trinidad, Colorado, passed away November 1, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents Philip F & Elvera (James) Modica, brothers Tommy Modica, Gerald Modica and Philip Modica. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Pat, daughter Theresa Stuhlmann and husband Jeff, sister, Regina Modica West and husband Gary, sisters-in-law Phyllis Modica and Christine Modica and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Theodore was employed at Rust Tractor for over 9 years and was a Diesel Instructor at T-VI for 35 years. He was honored with the Instructor of the Year award in 1994. He was on the Corrales Senior Advisory Board for 12 years, was a member of the Corrales Tractor Club as well as a volunteer at the Corrales Harvest Festival for the last 15 years as a tractor driver pulling hay rides. He enjoyed restoring old tractors and showing them off at the tractor shows. He also loved trains and was asked to ride in the engine on one of their many trips in California. Theodore and Pat enjoyed traveling whether it was RVing, cruising, or flying across the country to get on a motor coach to go site seeing. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 16, 2018 - 10:00 AM at San Ysidro Catholic Church, Corrales, NM. In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society
