Yolanda Schindwolf, Age

87, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018. She was born in New York, NY., on September 29, 1931 to Diego and Velia Jimenez. Yolanda was an artist and painter. She studied art at Farmingdale College in New York, and at the University of New Mexico. She married Rudolph Schindwolf in Lancaster, CA., on August 1, 1953. They have been married for 65 years. They were residents at Monzano del Sol retirement village at the time of her death. Yolanda enjoyed Skiing, Tennis, Golf, Bowling, Square Dancing, Cooking, Quilting, Painting, crafts, and home decorating. She loved to travel, she and her husband traveled to many counties all over the world. They also owned an RV and traveled all over the country. She was a member of the Edelweiss on the Rio Grande German American Club, Red Hat Ladies, Sanado Women’s Club, the Officers’ Wives Club, and St. Joseph’s on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, where she was also a Eucharistic Minister. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Diego and Raymond Jimenez. Yolanda is survived by husband, Rudolph Schindwolf; sister, Sandra Shirey; sons, Eric, Karl, and Paul Schindwolf; daughter, Karen Wallentinsen; 5 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. Rosary will be held on Monday, November 26, 2018 - 7:00 PM at Sara Chapel, Rio Rancho, NM.
