Patricia Gail Lowrey Kuhlhoff
Patricia Gail Lowrey Kuhlhoff, age 74, passed away November 20, 2018 peacefully at her home in Santa Fe,
NM. Born in Cincinnati, OH, on November 10, 1944, Pat was the first of three children born to the late George Harrison and Patricia Altman (Young) Lowrey. Pat married the love of her life, the late Eugene A. Kuhlhoff on August 22, 1980, in Ventura, CA. She is survived by her brothers, cousins, step children, step grandchildren and step great grandchild.
Pat moved to Santa Fe NM in 1989, and was recently recognized in the New Mexican article Legacy of City’s "Perfect Ambassador". She spent her years volunteering as a docent for the Santa Fe Opera giving back stage tours, entertaining visitors at the Rancho de Las Golondrenas, conducting downtown tours for the Palace of the Governors, and working at the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce Plaza Tourist information booth. She was a member of the local chapter of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution), Bienvenidos, the Old Spanish Trail Association, the Santa Fe Trail Association, the Mule & Donkey Association, and Los Compadres. She also served on the Eldorado Residents’ Association on various committees. Pat was an avid traveler, covering 52 countries and 49 of 50 states in her lifetime. She enjoyed golfing, skiing, reading and was the family genealogist.
The memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 15th at 1 pm at the Kiva Chapel of Light at Santa Fe Memorial Gardens.
