Eight get quality awards

Eight organizati­ons are being recognized by Quality New Mexico’s 2018 New Mexico Performanc­e Excellence Awards and will be honored at the organizati­on’s Learning Summit & New Mexico Performanc­e Excellence Awards Ceremony in April.

Quality New Mexico announced in a news release that it is recognizin­g companies and organizati­ons at the following four levels:

Zia (Excellence): Nor-Lea Hospital District, Lovington

Roadrunner (Progress): Del Norte Credit Union, Santa Fe; Farmington Municipal Schools, Farmington; Los Alamos National Laboratory Policy Office, Los Alamos;

Meals on Wheels of Albuquerqu­e, Albuquerqu­e.

Piñon (Commitment): New Mexico Department of Transporta­tion District Two, Roswell; Sandia National Laboratori­es Mission Computing and IT Financial Management Business Operations, Albuquerqu­e

Adobe (Foundation): Health Quest Chiropract­ic, LLC, Albuquerqu­e

The Peformance Excellence Awards are determined in a multi-tiered assessment and awards process modeled on the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Awards. Organizati­ons are judged on such factors as customer and employee satisfacti­on and engagement, sound operationa­l management, radical innovation, and favorable outcomes.
