SF ANIMAL SHELTER & HUMANE SOCIETY

-

Stop by the Santa Fe Animal Shelter & Humane Society to meet Willow.

This 2-year-old pup weighs about 60 pounds. She is a lovely girl who walks great on a leash and enjoys play time.

Gorgeous Kitty Patch is 11 years young and enjoys lying near windows looking at the world go by. She loves being petted and brushed.

See these two pets and others up for adoption online at www. sfhumanesociety.org or call 983-4309 ext. 610. The Santa Fe Animal Shelter is at 100 Caja del Rio Road. Adoption hours are from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

Also, visit adoptable animals in the community Saturday and Sunday from noon-3 p.m. at PetSmart Santa Fe, 3561 Zafarano Dr.

Hoping you will fall in love with a new animal, the shelter is kicking off the new year with an adoption special featuring dogs weighing 20 pounds and more for $20. This special includes all dogs over 20 pounds, except Shelter Heroes and puppies. All adoptable animals are spayed or neutered and come with a microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and a bag of food.

On Tuesday, Jan. 15, the shelter is Hosting Cuisine for a Cause. Dine out at the Coyote Cafe & Cantina, 132 W. Water St., and all proceeds will benefit the homeless animals of northern New Mexico. For reservations, call 983-1615 or visit opentable.com,
