Jackalope undergoing $500K remodeling

-

Jackalope, the 40-year-old bazaar-style shopping complex, has broken ground on a major remodel of its 8,400-square-foot Mission-style centerpiece store building at 2820 Cerrillos Rd. in Santa Fe.

The remodel is expected to be completed this spring.

“The update was long over due,” said Harpal Singh in a news release. “We are completely remodeling the space to create an inviting and unique shopping experience, where people will want to spend a couple of hours. What Jackalope offers are products not easily found on the internet, or in strip malls or large retail box stores; the new store will enhance people’s ability to see and explore our distinct lines.”

Jackalope will remain open during construction. The remodeling project will cost upwards of $500,000 says the news release. The new space will give people an even better shopping experience,” said Singh.
