How do you define “leadership”?

Characteristics that define great leadership must include a genuine interest in people, care, consideration, and respect for others’ ideas and perspectives. Leadership thrives with big doses of humility and patience. Perseverance and courage are important, as is optimism, creative thinking, curiosity and vision.

What do you consider to be the top issue or concern facing New Mexico today?

Education. Building skills and sharing knowledge helps to create a better and sustainable future for all. An educated person is more likely to operate as an independent, contributing member of society and make choices that contribute to their overall health and well-being.
