How do you define “leadership”? Coaching, mentoring, guiding, teaching, motivating and inspiring.

What do you consider to be the top accomplishment in the past 5 years in our state? Why? Since I am from southeastern New Mexico, I consider the opening of the Delaware Basin for oil and gas among our state’s top accomplishments because it will drive revenues and economies throughout the state.

What specific skills/ knowledge do you hope to gain from your participation in Leadership New Mexico? Having an understanding of how different leaders approach issues and what they find of value helps me to broaden my approach to problem-solving in my industry.
