Who or what inspires you as a leader and

why? My affection for the state of New Mexico inspires me to play a leadership role. I was born and raised in northern New Mexico and I want the best for this state and its people.

What do you consider to be New Mexico’s strengths and how can our state build upon these assets? I consider New Mexico’s people and geographic beauty to be its greatest strengths. We can build on these by keeping our youth and future leaders in the state, and also by promoting tourism. What steps do we need to take to improve the future of our state? We need to engage, educate, and leverage leaders in all areas and professions to work toward common goals, much like Leadership New Mexico does.
