What do you consider to be New Mexico’s strengths and how can our state build upon

these assets? Great culture, great weather, great outdoors and incredible landmarks are what I consider New Mexico’s assets. The culture in this state is deeply rooted and predates the founding of this nation. It is a story that should be better told.

What do you consider to be the weaknesses facing New Mexico and how can we overcome these challenges? I feel the biggest challenge facing New Mexico is the lack of good, exciting jobs. Our biggest export is our people. New Mexico needs to create an environment in which our youth are excited about staying and working here. Describe your vision for New Mexico in one sentence. New Mexico is the state of choice to settle in and raise your family because it has everything one can want: a safe environment, great education and some of the best outdoor experiences to be had.
