with why? every I’m inspired day. Everyone by the people has I meet and work their own path to achieve what’s important in their life, and hearing their stories brings perspective.

What do you consider to be New Mexico’s strengths and how can our state build upon these assets? Our rich cultural history and expansive scenic landscape offer an experience unique to New Mexico. Continued positive outreach for tourism and embracing corporate interests within our state is critical to future growth.

What do you consider to be the weaknesses facing New Mexico and how can we overcome

these challenges? The image of our state often includes the negative aspect that crime rates have increased in recent years. It’s important for us to focus on the positive activities and programs that are being put in place to address challenges.
