Chuze Fitness opens first ABQ location

Chuze Fitness on Monday held its grand opening for its new Winrock Town Center location, its first in Albuquerque.

The 41,883-square-foot facility in the former Toys ‘R Us location, includes a smoothie bar and cardio cinema.

The company has announced it intends to build a second club at 9350 Eagle Ranch just south of Irving in a space that had been occupied by Hobby Lobby.

Company officials have said each location could have up to 35 to 50 employees, which includes group exercise instructors,.

The starting price for a membership is $10 a month with upgraded access to specific amenities that range from $21.99 to $39.99 a month.
