SLEEP WITH THE FISH AT BIOPARK AQUARIUM
10 ‘sleepovers’ scheduled at ABQ BioPark
Kids can learn about Albuquerque’s aquatic residents at monthly Aquarium Overnights.
Ten of what organizers tout as the “most interesting sleepovers” — Aquarium Overnights at the ABQ BioPark — are on tap monthly for the rest of the year.
“Aquarium Overnights are an amazing opportunity to explore the aquarium at night while learning about ocean animals,” Pamela Dupzyk, ABQ BioPark Aquarium/Botanic Garden education coordinator, said in a statement.
“This nighttime adventure is filled with fun activities such as visiting the sharks and rays in the mangrove pool, scavenger hunts, making an aquatic critter craft and viewing a themerelated movie,” she said.
Each overnight is on a Friday and concludes at 8 a.m. on a Saturday.
Cost is $30 per person and can be purchased at www.holdmyticket.com.
Preregistration is required, and children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, according to a news release. The schedule includes:
