The Aggie Athletic Club is seeking to expand to reach 1,000 members by March 15

A new countdown will make history at New Mexico State University – and, we need your help before the clock runs out.

New Mexico State Athletics supports 425 student-athletes every year through the Aggie Athletic Club. To recruit the best student-athletes, the AAC recruits the best Aggie supporters, and this year, the recruiting clock is ticking to reach 1,000 AAC members by March 15.

Why be a part of the AAC now? This new class of 1,000 AAC members would be the largest in N.M. State Athletics history, and collective support of this magnitude builds on some of the most successful Aggie seasons to date to maintain this winning energy moving forward.

How does that work? The higher the support generated by AAC members, the easier it is for our student-athletes to focus on what matters — their books and the game. Your vital support of the AAC directly benefits our student-athletes by covering the costs associated with books, fees, nutrition and room and board. In other words, you are removing the financial distractions from their lives that prevent them from performing at their best on the team or in the classroom.

Die-hard Aggie fans, who are already members in the AAC, have made it possible for our student-athletes to earn a cumulative 3.0 average GPA for 26 consecutive semesters, to pour more than 6,000 hours of community service into Las Cruces and to earn — just last year — nine Western Athletic Conference championships and a recent bowl game win.

As a loyal Aggie fan, your charitable gift in this way brings you closer to our teams and their dreams at and beyond game time. Plus, your gift helps reach the university’s largest cash campaign goal in NMSU history — Ignite Aggie Discovery! With about $20 million more to raise by December, your AAC membership could actually make NMSU history twice.
