Southwest adds flights to San Jose
Southwest Airlines is expanding service to San Jose, Calif., from Sundays only to daily non-stop flights, starting on Aug. 6, the city announced Thursday.
Flights will leave Albuquerque at 11 a.m., and return flights will leave San Jose, Calif., at 1:05 p.m. The roughly 2½-hour flights range from $123 one way for the cheapest fares to $442, according to the Southwest website.
“This daily non-stop service to San Jose opens new doors for economic development and tourism with the Bay Area and Silicon Valley, and continues our efforts to build a gateway to the Southwest,” Mayor Tim Keller said.
