‘TRUCKLOADS OF CASH’
Sandia Resort & Casino offers cash, free play and a Chevy Colorado
As February winds down, Sandia Resort & Casino is giving you some of your last chances this month at cash, free play and a 2019 Chevy Colorado truck.
Slots and table game players can earn tickets into “Truckloads of Cash” drawings that will be held every 30 minutes from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday through Sunday in February. Patrons earn a drawing ticket with every 25 points they accrue. Peak Rewards members can stock up on the entries on Tuesday, Feb. 26. The amount of bonus entries accrued is dependent on card level and range from one entry to 20 entries. Swipe your Peak Rewards card at any promotional kiosk to obtain your bonus entries.
As part of the promotion, guests can be part of cash and free-play drawings today, Sunday, Feb. 24, and Thursday, Feb. 28. Truck, cash and free play drawings will be held on Saturday, Feb. 23.
In the poker room, guests can win their share of $14,400 in cash or slot free play during “Saturday Hot Seat Drawings.” The drawings will take place every two hours from 12:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23. Hotseat drawings also will take place every two hours from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 26, and Thursday, Feb. 28. Two winners will be selected during each drawing for $200 and $100 in cash.
Bingo players can win gas and cash on Saturday, Feb. 23 during the matinee and evening sessions. Drawing winners will receive $250 in cash and a $250 Sandia gas card.

Off the gaming floor, inside the Sandia Ballroom, Sandia will host a big celebration to commemorate St. Patrick’s Day. Blarney Bash will feature headliners Slaughter and supporting acts Steven Adler of Guns N’ Roses fame as well as rock artist Jesse Kramer, who appeared on the TV competition “The Four.”
Sandia has amped up its entertainment schedule with some heavy hitters performing this spring at the casino’s amphitheater. Frankie Valli performs April 28, Gary Clark Jr. on May 18, Little Big Town on June 14 and the Steve Miller and Marty Stuart on Aug. 11. Santa Ana Star wraps up its “Freezy Money” promotion on Saturday, Feb. 23. The final drawing will be held at 8 p.m. Saturday. Five guests will be chosen with four winning free play prizes and one playing for his or her chance to win up to $100,000 cash.
