AARON JACOBS, M.D., has been appointed as the Associate Medical Director for Population Health Management at the UNM Medical Group, Inc., effective June 1, 2019. Jacobs is a highly respected health system physician leader, educator and clinician, who has been with UNM since his pediatric residency in 2003. He is board certified in pediatrics and in preventive medicine (clinical informatics). Jacobs has served in leadership positions for the past 13 years within the Department of Pediatrics and at the UNM Children’s Hospital, as well as in his most recent role as chief medical informatics officer for UNM Hospital.

MARCY MAIER, a Regional Manager at Planet Fitness, has been promoted to Vice President of Operations for New Mexico and Arizona. Maier has been with the Planet Fitness ownership group ECP-PF Holdings for four years and brings 25 years of experience to the position. She previously worked as a general manager and regional trainer for Bed Bath and Beyond; and at Walmart for seven years as a general manager. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma.
