NEW MEXICO KIDS MATTER,

trains volunteers to be Court Appointed Special Advocates for children in foster care. Children in foster care who have an Advocate tend to do better in school, have a higher chance of getting placed in a permanent home, receive therapy, and have better relationships with the adults in their life. Right now, we are only serving about 20% of the kids in foster care in Bernalillo County, and we really need more volunteers. People interested can contact us at advocate@nmkidsmatter. org, by phone at 903-0305, or RSVP to an Info Session on our website at nmkidsmatter. org/attend-an-info-session.
