REVENUE DEPARTMENT presents the New Employer Workshop from 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. today in the first floor conference room at the Bank of the West, 5301 Central Ave. NE. The workshop will provide the new employer with training in computing withholding taxes for New Mexico employees, as well as a discussion of the State Unemployment Tax Act (SUTA), worker compensation insurance, workplace safety, the Federal Employer Identification Number, information returns (W-2 & 1099), payroll taxes, prepayment reports, and employer returns.
