SF ANIMAL SHELTER & HUMANE SOCIETY

Stop by the Santa Fe Animal Shelter & Humane Society to meet Chatito, a gorgeous Pekingese mix who is 3 years old and weighs about 15 pounds. He is not a fan of being picked up, so an ideal world for Chatito would be a home with no children. He does get along with other dogs.

Agent Gibbs

is a 7-year-old buff and white kitty who is looking for a second chance in life. He is super-friendly and loves to purrr. Fall in love with Agent Gibbs today.

These and other animals are available for adoption from the Santa Fe Animal Shelter at 100 Caja del Rio Road. The shelter’s adoption hours are 11 a.m.-6 p.m. daily. ESPAÑOLA HUMANE

Head over to Española Humane and consider adopting a kitten or two. Meet Huckle. He is such a sweet boy. He is about 12 weeks old and came to the shelter as a stray. He lives well with other cats, has not been around dogs, but is young enough to learn how to deal with a gentle dog. When he is relaxed, he wants and likes to play with his toys. He has done well with litter box training. A gentle grooming and a nap during the day would make his dream home. Stop by and meet him today.

Also meet Tylee. She is a wonderful 8-week-old kitty who enjoys being the center of your attention. After spending some time in a foster home, she is ready to find her perfect family. She is sweet, goofy and loving, and wants to be your best friend. Tylee thinks that a scratching post and fun feathery toys are the best things on Earth. She has done well with other felines. Bring the family and come meet her.

These two and many others may be adopted daily from 10:30 a.m.-5 p.m. at Española Humane, 108 Hamm Parkway in Española. 505-753-8662. To see more adoptable pets, log on to www. espanolahumane.org or www.petango.com.

On Thurs., Oct. 24, the shelter is offering a vaccination clinic for your pets. Bring your kitties and pups to the shelter clinic for free vaccinations on a first-come-first-served basis. All dogs must be leashed and all cats must be in carriers. The clinic runs from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
