Buy used books, DVDs, CDs

Friends of the Public Library will hold its annual holiday used book, DVD and CD sale from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at the Main Library, 501 Copper NW.

Admission is $2 until noon, free thereafter and free for children. There will be a large selection of like-new holidaythemed materials for adults and children. Most items are 80% to 90% off the original price. All proceeds benefit Albuquerque-Bernalillo County libraries. Two hours of validated parking is available katty-corner from the library in the Very Special Arts garage. In addition, Friends will hold their semi-annual $5-a-bag clearance sale from noon-4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, at the Main Library. Admission is free and there is no limit, although like-new and holiday items will not be available.
