Celtics win in Walker’s return to Charlotte
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Kemba Walker, who played eight seasons with the Hornets, had an emotional return to Charlotte and Jayson Tatum scored 23 points as the Boston Celtics won 108-87 on Thursday night.
Walker finished with 14 points and six assists.
He received a rousing minute standing ovation after the Hornets showed a highlight tribute on the videoboard that left the point guard in tears. SPURS 121, THUNDER 112: In San Antonio, Texas, LaMarcus Aldridge scored a season-high 39 points as San Antonio beat Oklahoma City.
