On Monday, Nov. 11, a number of businesses will be offering veterans deals throughout the day, as well as planned events.

Here are a few:

The ABQ BioPark is offering military personnel $1 admission on Monday. In addition, up to five family members accompanyi­ng the veteran or military personnel may gain admission to the ABQ BioPark for $1 each. The veteran or active military personnel must be in attendance and must present a valid military or veteran ID card. Deal doesn’t include combo tickets.

Veterans Parade and Memorial Ceremony starts at USS Bullhead Memorial Park, 1606 San Pedro SE, at 10 a.m. It runs north and east to the New Mexico Veterans Memorial Museum, 1100 Louisiana SE.

The National Museum of Nuclear Science and History, 601 Eubank SE, offers free admission from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to veterans and active-duty personnel with identifica­tion.

National Park Service is waiving entry fees for everyone on Monday and Tuesday.

The New Mexico Museum of Space History in Alamogordo is offering free museum admission for veterans, active-duty military personnel and National Guard members.

Nick & Jimmy’s Bar & Grill, Mykonos Café and Taverna, and Yanni’s will offer free lunch for veterans from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

D.H. Lescombes Winery & Bistro in Albuquerqu­e, Las Cruces and Farmington is offering a free meal for all U.S. veterans and activeduty military personnel.

There are also deals from national chains such as Applebee’s, California Pizza Kitchen, Chili’s Grill and Bar, Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Golden Corral, IHOP, Little Caesars, Longhorn Steakhouse, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Red Robin, Subway, Village Inn and Starbucks. Check local stores for participat­ion.
