EVERY PLAYER ON the 2017 Houston Astros (including everyone’s “hero” Alex Bregman) should be fined and put on notice that if they participate in the same conduct in the future they will be suspended. Bregman and his fellow cheaters should not get off scot-free. They were the one’s who benefited.

IF ROCKY LONG returns to UNM as defensive coordinator, it would be a significant boost for Lobo football, not only for his coaching credentials but because people in (Albuquerque) respect him. The Lobos are desperate for help on the defensive side of the ball, and Rocky Long’s defensive tutelage would put the brakes on opponent’s ability to run up the score on the Lobos at their leisure. Rocky’s presence will markedly improve Lobo football.

THE AD AND our coaches need to accept the fact that the portals are not working for UNM. These young men and women have had troubles at their previous schools and have been released for reason. Our coaches can’t salvage them so please stop accepting them. This is our scholarship monies that have been wasted for several years while they were redshirted. Not good

policy. Give it up!

Caldwell, the fans, the team and most importantly the young man’s life to what should be called a shameful approach. Instead of being open minded and first examining thoroughly the unresolved issues Nuñez jumps on the UNM’s destruction train. Thanks to Geoff Grammer for telling the real story.

MORE THAN LIKELY there will be a high profile basketball player dismissed from another college team that UNM can pick up.

JIMMY JOHNSON and Bill Cowher get in the (Pro Football Hall of Fame) and Tom Flores is left out. Both Johnson and Cower are both very deserving of this honor, but so is Flores. Flores won a Super Bowl as a player, as an assistant coach and two as a head coach. He was the first Latino to ever play in the AFL and NFL as a starting quarterback . ... The NFL may have a grudge with the Raiders Organization, but to dismiss the many milestone achievements of Tom Flores is shameful . ...
