(R o s s ) Baldoni, of Albuquerqu­e, was called home by our Heavenly

Father on the holy day of Christmas morning December 25, 2020. Louellen was born in 1940 to Carlo and Helen Ross. She graduated from Highland High School in 1958 and also attended the University of Albuquerqu­e. She married Robert J. Baldoni in 1962 and raised five children. She also cared for numerous children for many years in her home daycare. She retired from Sandia National Labs in 2005 maintainin­g many specials friendship­s. As a lifelong member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, she became the organist as a teenager where she loved to play for Mass and continued for over 65 years. Louellen loved playing the piano, loved music and was an extraordin­ary pianist. She played for weddings, funerals and concerts until her health no longer allowed her to continue. Her love of music led her to the UNM Chorus and travels to Europe with her best friend and sister-in-law Jeannie Baldoni. Louellen had a special devotion to Our Blessed Mother and she embodied the life of Christ with her humility, meekness, innocence, purity, compassion, joy, humor, unconditio­nal love and care for others She is a wonderful role model and witness. She was awarded the St Francis Award from the Archdioces­e of Santa Fe in 2008. She is a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmothe­r, and great-grandmothe­r. We were incred ib ly blessed to have her in our lives. Louellen suffered a great deal due to years of dementia and breast cancer. She was surrounded by family, in person and by phone, as we were blessed to pray and comfort her in her last moments. She will be greatly missed and always remembered.

She is survived by her husband, Robert J. Baldoni; brothers, Chuck Ross (Carmel) and Ronald Ross (Jane); children, Mary C. Graham (Jeff), Anne E. Desautels (Marty), John P. Baldoni (Lucia), Joe M. Baldoni and Gina M. Erickson (Paul); 14 grandchild­ren, 17 great-grandchild­ren and many nieces & nephews; and special friends, Elsa Firschein, Bernadette Shonka, Leigh Kelly, Jan Clement and more.

Thank you all for your prayers and wonderful support during this precious time.

The Rosary will be on January 5th at 5:30pm and the Funeral will be on January 6th at 11:00am both at Our Lady of Fatima Church (4020 Lomas Blvd NE 87108). The internment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
