Herrell position disappointing

I’M REALLY disappointed that the new N.M. Congresswoman Yvette Herrell used her new platform in the U.S. Congress to align herself with the baseless claims of a fraudulent election.

These claims have gone through every legal circuit; they’ve been denounced by the legislatures of all the respective states: Pennsylvania, Georgia and Arizona. Their only purpose is to keep alive the myth that Donald Trump deserves to be the U.S. president for four more years.

In making an objection, Representative Herrell aligned herself with a president who had just incited a riot and a mob assault on the institution she was elected to serve. And a treasonous insurrection against our democracy. Shame on her. She’s perpetuating the lies, the division, the hatred and the violence of his administration. She should use her time better and her conscience more. ROSEMARY ZIBART
