I-40 at Zuzax to be closed temporarily

Interstate 40 will be closed in both directions at Zuzax from 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, until 5 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, while concrete is poured for a new bridge over I-40, according to the state Department of Transportation.

Traffic will be diverted to the on and off ramps at the intersection.

The work is weather permitting and subject to change without notice, the DOT said.
