Bill Elliott died from COVID complications. He was born on July
30, 1953 in Portalles, New Mexico. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mona; children, Nathan, Andrew, and Emily (Kinsky); and 6 grandchildren. Also surviving are his three siblings, Jim, Felicia (Clark), and Mark. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann, and father, Carl.
At his request, a formal service will not be held at this time. Instead, a celebration of his life is tentatively planned for summer 2021. Details will be posted on his Facebook page.
Bill had a passion for life and people. He lived his life exactly as he wanted to and never let anyone, or anything limit him. Bill was passionate about his hobbies, which included playing guitar, racing cars, and catching fish. He had a big heart for helping others and made new friends and family everywhere he went. We will miss you, Bill. May your feet be cold no longer. In lieu of gifts, Bill would want you to get outside and live your life to the fullest. Do what you want, when you want, don’t let anyone stop you, but change your oil!
