Georgia West

Georgia West, 82 of Albuquerque, passed away on January 4, from complications of Parkinson’s. Georgia was born on July 8, 1938 to Joseph and Frances Pagoria in Chicago Heights, Illinois. She married Edward West in 1957 and had 3 children. She finished her Education degree and became a Special Education Preschool teacher.

Georgia is survived by her children: Kathy Brandt of Albuquerque, Lisa Slinkard (Mike) of Grand Junction, CO, and David West (Vicki) of Austin, Tx, 3 grandchildren: Brandon Slinkard, Brianna and Jonathan Brandt and her sister

Lucille Kujawa of Richmond, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband Ed. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, teacher and friend. We will miss her greatly. The family would like to thank Dr Lara Barkoff, Dr Jill Marjama Lyons, Northridge Assisted Living facility and Ambercare Hospice for their loving care. Cremation has taken place and services will take place at a date to be announced. In place of flowers please make donations to Animal Humane of NM or The PMD Alliance Albuquerque Program.
