Charles and Lillian Palacio
Charles and Lillian Palacio are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
Charles Palacio and the former Lillian Salas were married Jan. 1, 1971, at Sandia Army Base in Albuquerque.
Charles was a U.S. Air Force medic from 1970-74. In 1976, he worked for the Kirtland Air Force Base commissary, and became
a mason in 1979. In 1991, Charles became a facility maintenance planner, then worked as a facility technologist for Sandia National Laboratories.
Lillian retired from the Kirtland Research Lab on the Air Force Base in 2012, as a budget analyst.
They are the parents of Edward Palacio, Jessy Palacio and Marlene Palacio. The family includes 10 grandchildren.
Charles and Lillian will plan a trip to Bora Bora in the future.
