John and Flora Kubiak
John and Flora Kubiak are celebrating their golden wedding anniversary.
John D. Kubiak and the former Flora S. Bond were united in marriage Jan. 23, 1971, at Saint John’s Episcopal Cathedral Church in Albuquerque.
John is a certified public accountant and partner in Kubiak Melton & Assocites CPAs.
Flora is a homemaker, mother and grandmother.
The couple grew up in Albuquerque and are high school sweethearts, having met in their senior year at Highland High School in 1967. They currently reside in the Village of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque where they raised their four sons. They enjoy family activities, golf, tennis and traveling with family.
They are the parents of Matthew D. Kubiak and his wife Heidi; Simon A. Kubiak and his wife, Larissa; John M. Kubiak and Peter J. Kubiak.
The family includes nine grandchildren.
