Herrell belongs in Hall of Shame

Yvette Herrell belongs in the Constitutional Hall of Shame. Her promotion of the canard that the election was rigged and that President Trump won it tags her with partial responsibility for the violent invasion of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.

She and her Republican colleagues have trashed electoral procedures set forth in the Constitution in a vain effort to keep in the White House a pathetic, delusional would-be dictator. Herrell shamelessly violated the oath of office she swore just days before. Her actions have betrayed the citizens who legitimately elected Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as president and vice president for the next four years. Herrell is a disgrace to New Mexico and to our country.
