Gilbert Armijo

Gilbert Armijo, born December 26, 1950 in Magdelena, New Mexico passed away peacefully on January 17, 2021 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was a US Army Veteran, proud of his service in the 82nd Airborne Division. He was a graduate of the University of Washington and Harvard University. He is survived by his son, James, daughter-in-law, Megan, and granddaughter, Rose. Gilbert always loved family and friends gathering, so, a memorial service will be planned when it is safe for groups to gather, and details will be provided.

Gilbert always had the best intentions and aspirations. He was eternally optimistic. He loved family and friends, and most importantly, family and friends gathering to enjoy mutual company. He was a good father and a much better friend. Above all, he could always be counted on to donate his time to help in times of need. He is best remembered by cherishing time with the ones you love.
