I SAW on TV that The Pit concourse is now being used as a vaccine site. I thought that it was a wonderful idea. University Stadium is not being used, the NM Department of Health should also consider that venue. Whether the blissful types agree or not, the Covid vaccine distribution is way more important than sports right now.

NEW MEXICO isn’t the laughing stock of the country because the teams can’t gather. Just look at past national TV games with an empty stadium. I’m sure our businesses aren’t worried about teams relocated, nor are our kids who are unable to see their friends.

WHINE, WHINE, if the men’s Lobos basketball team were playing in the Pit, same people would be calling for Weir firing and will no longer attend BB games. Same old story. Our Governor does not play basketball nor coach the Lobo team. Supporter forever.

RUDY THE ATTORNEY is correct, the governor’s wellintentioned efforts to keep the rate of COVID patients here down to prevent deaths has been a disaster for UNM ladies and men’s basketball. All the independent, objective sportscasters who announce the streaming games on themwc. com and those who announce on CBS Sports and FoxSports1, have stated that UNM’s exile makes it impossible for our coaches/players to compete. She has similarly destroyed many small businesses here. She was not picked for the Cabinet. She needs to relax these worst-in-nation edicts now, before the current damage she has caused becomes irreparable.

CONGRATS TO ex-Lobo Jason Sanders of the Miami Dolphins earning All-Pro Kicker for 2020. Also ex-Lobo Corey Bojorquez having an outstanding season punting for the Buffalo Bills heading into the AFC Championship game. Ex-Lobos are kicking great in the NFL and the upcoming Lobos are gonna be kicking some A##!!! Mark my words and GO LOBOS! UNM really made the right choice in Coach Gonzales. Love the physicality and toughness he brings.
