State incentive program to support 265 new jobs
The state Economic Development Department announced Tuesday that eight companies will receive more than $2 million to support 264 trainees and an intern in New Mexico through the Job Training Incentive Program. Companies receiving more than $50,000 include:
■ Tempur Production USA, which received $1.136 million to support 141 trainees in Albuquerque at an average wage of $20.97 per hour.
■ LQ Digital, which received $417,164 to support 101 trainees in Albuquerque at an average wage of $15.70.
■ McKinley Paper Co., which received $256,147 to support 10 trainees in Prewitt, at an average wage of $32.38.
■ Build With Robots, which received $71,786 to support three trainees in Albuquerque at an average wage of $41.83.
■ Kane Robotics, which received $65,264 to support two employees and one intern in Albuquerque. The two employees have an average wage of $51, while the intern wage is $18.50.
