Clinton Nichols
Nichols is the chief of police in Commerce City, Colorado, where he started in 2015 as commander. Before that, Nichols had been with the Las Vegas Police Department since 1992 and worked up to the position of police commander.
Nichols also worked as an adjunct professor at College of Southern Nevada, where he taught administration of justice for a few years. Nichols is a veteran who served with the U.S. Marine Corps for six years during the Gulf War.
Nichols earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice administration from Columbia Southern University in Alabama before obtaining a master’s in leadership and influence from Jones International University in Colorado.
